A deep impact socket with a 3/4" drive, designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome molybdenum steel (CR-MO), which is suited to withstanding impact loads without the risk of cracking or deformation. The extended body allows work on bolts and nuts seated deep inside recesses that are out of reach for standard-length sockets.
The CR-MO alloy is more flexible than CR-V steel — it absorbs the vibrations generated by impact wrenches instead of allowing stress to build up. As a result, the socket does not crack under repeated impacts and retains its dimensional accuracy throughout its service life.
The greater body length makes it possible to reach nuts and bolts located in deep sleeves, flanges or housings. This solution is used when fitting suspension components, engines and steel structures, where a standard socket does not provide sufficient reach.
The 3/4" drive is a size used on industrial impact wrenches operating at high torque. It fits industrial-grade pneumatic and electric impact tools. Before purchasing, check the drive anvil size of your impact wrench.
The socket is fitted with a hole that allows a retaining pin or retaining ring to be used. This prevents the socket from accidentally coming off the drive during work — particularly important when working in an inverted position or at height.
| Model | T00213-34 |
| Brand | Tvardy |
| Type | Deep impact socket |
| Socket size | 34 mm |
| Working profile | 6-point (Hex) |
| Drive size | 3/4" |
| Length variant | Deep (LONG) |
| Material | Chrome molybdenum steel (CR-MO) |
| Retention | Retaining pin hole |
| Intended use | Pneumatic and electric impact tools |
The choice of socket material has a direct effect on the safety and durability of the tool. Sockets marked CR-V (chrome vanadium) are designed for use with hand tools — under impact loads they may crack or deform. CR-MO sockets are intended exclusively for impact tools.
| Feature | CR-MO steel | CR-V steel |
|---|---|---|
| Impact resistance | Very high — designed for impact wrenches | Limited — for hand use |
| Flexibility | Higher — absorbs vibrations | Lower — may crack under impact |
| Hardness retention | Stable under high loads | Good, but without impact resistance |
| Typical application | Impact wrenches, industry, automotive | Hand tools, workshop use |
A 3/4" drive size refers to the dimension of the square drive anvil on the impact wrench. Before purchasing, check the marking on the wrench or in its documentation — usually given as 3/4" or 19 mm. Wrenches with a 1/2" or 1" drive require correspondingly different sockets or adaptors.
