A professional deep impact socket designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel and engineered specifically for applications that demand resistance to extreme impact loads.
Technical Features
Deep Construction
The LONG socket provides access to bolts and nuts seated deep within mounting recesses. It is particularly useful when working on truck wheels, chassis components and steel structures where a standard socket cannot reach the fastener.
CR-MO Steel
Chrome molybdenum material offers greater elasticity than CR-V steel, absorbing impact shocks without the risk of cracking. The addition of molybdenum improves hardenability and resistance to material fatigue under repeated dynamic loads.
3/4" Drive
A 19.05 mm (3/4 inch) drive is the standard in professional applications requiring high torque. Compatible with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches with the same square drive size.
6-Point Profile

The Difference Between CR-MO and CR-V Steel
CR-V (chrome vanadium) steel is used in sockets for hand tools – it offers high surface hardness but lower elasticity. CR-MO (chrome molybdenum) steel contains molybdenum, which increases fatigue strength and allows the material to flex under impact and then return to its original shape. This is the key difference when working with pneumatic and electric tools, where the socket is subjected to thousands of cycles of impact loading.
Use and Maintenance
Before use, check that the socket drive size (3/4") matches the square drive of the impact wrench. A mismatch can damage both the socket and the tool.
Impact sockets require lubrication – before fitting the socket to the wrench, apply a thin layer of grease to the square drive. This reduces friction and prevents the connection from seizing, particularly during intensive use.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion, which can weaken the structure of the material. If the socket is fitted with a retaining pin hole, it is worth using it when working at height or in places where a dropped tool presents a hazard.
