Use and safety
Safe use guidelines
Axle stands must only be placed under the vehicle support points specified by the manufacturer. Before positioning the stands, the vehicle must be raised with a hydraulic or pneumatic jack. It is forbidden to go under a vehicle supported only by a jack without the additional security of axle stands.
Checks before use
Before each use, check the condition of the ratchet mechanism, that the steel construction is free from damage and that the stands are positioned stably. The axle stands should be placed on hard, level ground. The maximum load capacity of 3000 kg per pair must not be exceeded.
The load should be distributed evenly across both axle stands. When working on one side of the vehicle, the other side must remain on its wheels with chocks placed to prevent rolling.
