A complete set of four steel 1/2" drive extension bars designed for use with torque wrenches, ratchets and sockets. They provide access to fasteners in hard-to-reach locations.
The 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) square drive is the most common size in workshop and industrial applications. It is compatible with most professional hand tools and air tools.
The set contains extension bars measuring 70 mm (3"), 120 mm (5"), 200 mm (8") and 245 mm (10"). This combination allows the reach of the tool to be adapted flexibly to the working area without the need to buy additional items.
Manufactured from alloy steel, which provides good mechanical strength while retaining flexibility. The material resists plastic deformation when torque is transmitted.
The PROFI designation indicates that the tools are intended for professional use. Tools in this series meet the demands of intensive workshop and industrial use.

Shorter extension bars (70–120 mm) give better control of torque and minimise the risk of flexing. Longer versions (200–245 mm) are used where access to the fastener is severely restricted. When working with a torque wrench, the effect of the extension bar length on torque accuracy must be taken into account.
Before first use, check the condition of the working surfaces – freedom from scratches and burrs ensures that sockets seat correctly. The square drive should engage the socket without play, which guarantees full transmission of torque.
During use, avoid excessive flexing of the extension bar, particularly when using the longer versions. Flexing can damage both the extension bar and the fastener being worked on. When working with a torque wrench, use the shortest extension bar possible to minimise measurement error.
After use, clean the extension bars of any contamination and protect them with a thin film of protective oil. Storing them in a dry place prevents surface corrosion. Regular inspection allows signs of mechanical wear to be detected early.
