YATO YT-7220 100 mm feeler gauge – a precision measuring tool
The YATO YT-7220 feeler gauge is a set of 17 measuring blades made from hardened spring steel, designed for measuring and setting gaps from 0.02 to 1 mm. The tool is used in automotive mechanics, electrical engineering and industrial quality control.

Measuring range 0.02-1 mm
17 blades of different thicknesses allow precise measurement of gaps from 0.02 mm (20 microns) up to 1 mm. This range covers most typical applications – from adjusting valve clearances in engines to checking the gaps between electrical contacts.
Hardened spring steel
The blade material provides flexibility while resisting permanent deformation. Hardening increases surface hardness, which translates into a longer tool life and maintained measuring accuracy despite intensive use.
Working length 100 mm

Use and maintenance
How to use a feeler gauge correctly
Select a blade with a thickness close to the gap being measured. Insert it gently into the gap without forcing it – the correct blade should slide in with slight resistance. If the blade slides in too freely, use a thicker one. If it cannot be inserted, choose a thinner blade. For precise measurement, two or three blades can be used in combination.
Tool maintenance
After use, clean the blades of dirt with a dry cloth. Avoid contact with water and moisture, which can lead to corrosion. Store the feeler gauge in a dry place. Do not bend the blades by force – they may become permanently deformed. Periodically check the condition of the blade edges – damaged or bent blades affect measurement accuracy.
