Office extension lead with earthing in a black plastic housing. Fitted with 4 earthed Schuko sockets, designed to power electrical devices indoors.
Schuko sockets fitted with a PE protective contact dissipate leakage currents and protect against electric shock if the appliance's insulation is damaged. Earthing is mandatory when connecting Class I equipment such as computers, printers or household appliances.
A cable with PVC insulation and a cross-section of 1 mm² per core (3 cores: live, neutral, earth), designed to operate at temperatures up to 70°C. The 1 mm² cross-section allows a safe load of up to 10A (2300W at 230V), which is sufficient for most office and household devices.
A compact cable length suitable for use at desks, TV units or in places where the wall socket is a short distance from the devices. A shorter cable minimises the risk of tripping and makes cable management easier.
The black thermoplastic construction provides electrical insulation and resistance to typical indoor conditions. The material does not conduct electricity and is resistant to scratches and impacts under normal use.

With a cable cross-section of 1 mm², the recommended maximum load is 2300W (10A at 230V). This limit must not be exceeded in order to avoid overheating the cable. The total power of all connected devices should not exceed this value. For example: computer (300W) + monitor (50W) + printer (100W) + lamp (60W) = 510W – a safe operating range.
Before first use, check the condition of the cable and plug – no cracks or damage to the insulation should be visible. Position the extension lead so as to prevent mechanical damage and contact with moisture.
Use of the extension lead in damp rooms such as bathrooms or basements without adequate ventilation is not recommended. The product is intended for indoor use only at room temperature.
During use, avoid coiling the cable while it is under load – this can lead to the cable overheating. The cable should be laid out freely.
If signs of overheating are noticed (a burning smell, the plug or housing becoming hot), disconnect the extension lead from the mains immediately and stop using it.
