Galvanised steel
The zinc layer protects the steel against corrosion by acting as a physical barrier and providing cathodic protection. The hot-dip galvanising process ensures durability on contact with water and moisture over a long service life.
5-litre capacity

Metal handle

Guidelines for correct use
The galvanised bucket should be emptied after every use and stored in a dry place upside down, which prevents water from collecting inside. Avoid prolonged contact with strongly acidic substances (pH below 4) or strongly alkaline substances (pH above 12), as these can damage the zinc layer. Any mechanical damage to the zinc coating should be protected with anti-corrosion paint. Do not use to store food products without a food-contact certification.
Material resistance
The zinc layer withstands exposure to weather, water and most substances used in the home and on building sites. The typical zinc coating thickness in the hot-dip galvanising process is 50–85 micrometres, which translates into many years of corrosion protection under normal conditions of use.
