A complete set for automatic pressurised water supply, comprising a 1100 W self-priming centrifugal pump and a 50-litre diaphragm pressure vessel. Designed for use with clean water in household plumbing, irrigation systems and water abstraction from boreholes and tanks.
The pump can draw water from a depth of up to 9 metres without the need to prime the system first. This allows it to be installed above the water level, which simplifies installation at dug wells, tanks and ponds.
The diaphragm divides the vessel into a water chamber and an air chamber, providing a pressure buffer. This reduces the number of pump starts at low water draw-off, extending motor life and improving comfort of use.
Copper wire windings offer better electrical conductivity than aluminium, which translates into higher energy efficiency and less heat build-up during operation. The induction motor runs reliably at 3450 rpm.
The parts in contact with water are made of stainless steel, which prevents corrosion and extends the service life of the unit. This material is resistant to the mineral deposits found in well water.

The pump is designed for clean water free from mechanical impurities only. It must not be used to pump water containing sand, silt or other solid particles, which can damage the impeller and seals. For well water, fitting a pre-filter is recommended.
The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is +40°C. Exceeding this value can damage the seals and cause premature wear of pump components. The unit should be installed in areas where the ambient temperature does not exceed +40°C.
The IP44 rating indicates that the unit is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm in diameter and against water splashing from any direction. The pump can be operated in damp rooms, but must not be exposed to a direct jet of water or flooding.
Before first start-up, fill the pump body and the suction hose with water. The self-priming pump has to be primed before it can start working. The suction hose must be airtight and fitted with a non-return valve at the bottom to prevent water flowing back when the pump is switched off.
Install the unit on a stable surface in a horizontal position. Keep a clearance of at least 30 cm from walls to ensure adequate circulation of the air cooling the motor. The water connections must be properly sealed and the installation protected against freezing in winter.
Check the pressure in the pressure vessel before start-up and adjust it to suit the installation. It is normally around 1.5 bar, but may need adjusting depending on the delivery head and the length of the pipework.
