The YATO YT-44151 pressure roller is a tool designed for professional laminating, gluing and covering surfaces. It is fitted with a rubber roller with a diameter of 38 mm and a working length of 75 mm, along with an ergonomic J-type handle made of steel and aluminium.
The roller is made from hard rubber and leaves no marks on glued surfaces. The hardness of the material provides suitable pressure without the risk of damaging delicate materials, while effectively removing air bubbles and unevenness.
The contoured J-shaped handle allows the hand to rest naturally while working. The aluminium and steel construction with non-slip grips ensures a firm hold even during prolonged use, reducing hand fatigue.
A diameter of 1-1/2" (38 mm) is the optimum size for finishing and assembly work. It provides suitable surface pressure without overloading the material, which is particularly important with self-adhesive film and thin veneers.
A width of 3" (75 mm) allows medium-sized surfaces to be covered efficiently in a reasonable time. This dimension works well both for precise work on small components and for larger flat surfaces requiring even pressure.

Before first use, check that the roller turns freely around its axis. The rubber surface can be wiped with a dry cloth to remove any contamination from storage. The handle should be firmly seated in the tool's construction.
When laminating and gluing, guide the roller from the centre of the surface towards the edges, which prevents air bubbles from forming. The pressure should be even and suited to the type of material. For delicate surfaces, lighter pressure is recommended; for thicker materials, the pressure can be increased.
After finishing work, clean the roller of glue residue using a suitable solvent or warm soapy water, depending on the type of glue used. The rubber can be wiped dry with a soft cloth. Store the tool in a dry place, away from heat sources, to prevent the rubber from hardening or deforming.
