A professional circular saw with a 2800W brushed motor, designed for cutting wood and wood-based materials. Adjustable bevel and cutting depth allow straight, bevel and rip cuts in both hard and soft wood.
The 2800W output delivers stable performance when cutting hard materials. A brushed motor produces high torque from start-up, so the blade enters the material smoothly without stalling.
A high blade speed produces smooth cut edges. The higher the speed, the cleaner the cut edge, which matters especially when working with finishing materials.
Adjusting the blade bevel angle enables bevel cuts, which are essential when joining components at an angle, fitting mouldings or making carpentry joints.
A maximum cutting depth of 85mm at 0° and 60mm at 45° allows squared timber, structural boards and thicker timber sections to be cut in a single pass.
The metal construction provides stability during cutting and resistance to distortion. The steel base plate does not flex under pressure, which helps keep the cut straight.
The 34mm connector allows a dust extractor to be connected. Extracting sawdust directly at the cutting point improves visibility of the cut line and reduces dust around the work area.

The 24-tooth blade supplied with the saw is a general-purpose option for cutting construction timber. For finishing materials, blades with a higher tooth count (40-60) are recommended, as they produce cleaner cut edges. A 25.4mm bore is the standard for hand-held circular saws – check this figure before buying a new blade.
Before first use, check that the blade is fitted correctly – the rotation arrow on the blade must match the arrow on the saw's guard. The blade must be tightened with a spanner to the correct torque so that it does not work loose during use. Set the cutting depth so that the blade protrudes about 3-5mm beyond the material – this minimises cutting resistance and reduces motor wear.
Changing the cutting angle requires loosening the base plate locking lever, setting the required angle on the scale (usually marked in 5° increments) and locking it again. When making bevel cuts, remember that the cutting depth is reduced – at 45° it is 60mm instead of 85mm.
After use, clean sawdust from the saw, particularly around the adjustment mechanism and in the extraction channel. Check the condition of the carbon brushes in the brushed motor periodically – worn brushes (shorter than 5mm) need replacing. The blade should be cleaned regularly to remove wood resin, which reduces cutting efficiency.
