Aluminium oxide abrasive paper sheet with waterproof properties. The 230x280 mm format can be cut freely and adapted to a range of applications. The P150 grit is intended for medium sanding and smoothing surfaces.
P150 grit (approx. 100 µm) is used for removing coarser machining marks, levelling surfaces and preparing them for finishing. It leaves a slightly matt surface that can be smoothed further with finer grits.
Aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) is a versatile abrasive with high hardness and wear resistance. It is suitable for working wood, non-ferrous metals, plastics and lacquers. The grains stay sharp over a long service life.
The waterproof backing and bond allow wet sanding with water or an emulsion. This reduces dust, dissipates heat and extends the life of the paper. It can also be used dry.
A standard size that makes the sheet easy to cut into smaller pieces or use whole. It fits most hand sanding blocks and can be used as an insert for orbital sanders once trimmed to size.

Wet sanding is recommended when working lacquers and materials that generate a lot of dust – the water binds the particles and stops the grains from clogging. Dry sanding works well on wood and for quick jobs where water cannot be used. Wet and dry paper can be used for both.
Before starting work, it is worth testing the paper on an inconspicuous area of the material to check the sanding result. When sanding wet, use clean water or a dedicated sanding emulsion – do not use detergents, which can damage the bond.
When sanding, apply even pressure and work in strokes parallel to the wood grain, or across the workpiece when working metals. Excessive pressure shortens the life of the paper and can overheat the material.
After wet sanding, rinse the sheet with clean water and leave it to dry flat. Store dry sheets in the original packaging, in a dry place away from sources of moisture.
