Adjustable jaw capacity of 0-32 mm
The worm gear mechanism allows smooth adjustment of the jaw width, enabling work with nuts and bolts from M6 to M20. The maximum jaw capacity of 32 mm matches standard fastener sizes in hydraulic and mechanical installations.
Ground and polished head
The working surfaces of the jaws are precisely ground to minimise play and prevent slipping off nut edges. Polishing reduces friction and makes it easier to remove dirt after use.
Additional ring spanners in the handle

DIN 3117 standard

Use and maintenance
Before starting work, check the condition of the adjustment mechanism – the worm screw should move smoothly without jamming. Set the spanner jaws slightly wider than the nut, then tighten them with the mechanism to ensure full contact between the working surfaces.
The adjustable spanner is not designed to be used with a hammer or as a lever – doing so may deform the jaws or damage the mechanism. The maximum torque depends on the handle length and must not exceed the values specified by the manufacturer for the given spanner size.
After finishing work, clean the tool of contaminants and apply a thin layer of oil to the moving parts. Store the spanner in a dry place with the jaws closed to the minimum position, which reduces stress on the spring mechanism.
Checking compatibility
To check whether the 200 mm adjustable spanner is suitable for the job, measure the nut or bolt. A jaw capacity of 0-32 mm corresponds to open-ended spanners from 6 mm to 32 mm. For metric fasteners this is the M6 to M20 range. For imperial connections – from 1/4" to 1-1/4".
