Aluminium Try Square 300 mm YATO YT-7081
A measuring tool made from hardened aluminium with a durable millimetre scale, designed for marking out, checking right angles and basic linear measurement in the workshop and on site.
Features of the YATO Aluminium Try Square
Hardened Aluminium
The body is made from a hardened aluminium alloy, providing resistance to deformation while keeping the tool lightweight. The corrosion-resistant material extends the service life of the square in workshop and construction conditions.
Millimetre Scale
The black scale, permanently applied to both arms of the square, allows readings to an accuracy of 1 mm. The contrasting markings make measuring easier even in poor lighting.
300 mm Length
The 300 mm arms strike a balance between measuring reach and tool portability. This size allows longer lines to be marked out without having to move the square, while keeping it compact.
90° Right Angle

Use and Maintenance
Correct Use
Before measuring, make sure that the surface of the square and the surface being measured are clean and dry. When marking out, press the square against the reference edge to ensure the accuracy of the line being marked. The tool should not be used as a lever or a hammer.
Maintenance
After use, clean the square of dirt and dust with a dry cloth. For heavier soiling, a damp cloth may be used. Store the tool in a dry place, protected from impacts that could affect the accuracy of the right angle.
