16L Battery-Powered Knapsack Sprayer – Kraft&Dele KD2030
The KD2030 is a battery-powered knapsack sprayer with a diaphragm pump driven by a 12V/8Ah battery. It is designed for continuous work when applying plant protection products, liquid fertilisers and chemical preparations over larger areas — with no need for access to mains power.
Key features
Diaphragm pump with pressure switch
The diaphragm pump delivers consistent pressure between 1 and 4.5 bar. A built-in pressure switch automatically cuts the pump out once the set threshold is reached — protecting the system from overload and extending the service life of the seals. A safety valve provides additional protection against excessive pressure build-up.
12V/8Ah battery with fast charger
The 8Ah capacity provides up to 8 hours of continuous spraying on a single charge — enough to cover large plots without interrupting work to recharge. The battery is accessible through an access flap, so it can be removed and charged away from the unit. The supplied 230V/12V/1A charger recharges the battery in up to 8 hours.
Chemically resistant 16L tank
The grey tank is made from a material resistant to plant protection products, fertilisers and chemical solutions — it does not discolour or degrade on contact with the preparations typically used in gardening and agriculture. An internal filter prevents the nozzle from clogging during use.
Ergonomics and knapsack design
Adjustable straps on both shoulders allow the sprayer to be fitted to the operator's build. Perforated padding in the back contact area provides air circulation, reducing discomfort during prolonged use. A holder on the tank for securing the lance lets the unit be set down safely without the risk of contaminating the surroundings.
Telescopic lance and nozzles
The kit includes a metal telescopic lance with interchangeable nozzles, so the type of spray can be matched to the specific task. It also includes a horizontal 4-nozzle boom for row spraying — the direction and pattern of the spray can be adjusted in different planes, which is useful when fertilising vegetables planted in rows. A wide-angle flat-fan nozzle and a shielded nozzle that reduces spray drift are also included.
Nozzle output — what the figures mean
An output of 1.5–1.6 l/min from a single nozzle and 1.8–3 l/min from a twin nozzle indicates the actual liquid flow at operating pressure. Higher figures correspond to higher pressure. At an application rate of 200 l/ha and an output of 1.5 l/min, a single nozzle covers around 0.5 ha per hour — an approximate figure that depends on walking speed and spray width.

Use and maintenance
After use, rinse the tank with clean water to remove any residues of chemicals from the pressure system and the nozzle. The internal filter should be cleaned regularly — particularly when using finely granulated or suspension-type preparations. A lead-acid battery should not be stored in a fully discharged state — before the winter season it is advisable to charge it fully and store it at a temperature above 0°C. Check the interchangeable nozzles for wear and blockages before every use to ensure even spraying.
