The Phillips PH2 bit socket with a 3/8" drive is an adaptor that allows screwdriver tips to be fitted to 3/8" drive ratchets, torque wrenches and sockets. The 50 mm working length provides access to screws in recesses and hard-to-reach places.
The standard 3/8" square drive fits most ratchets, torque wrenches and sockets. It is the most widely used drive size in automotive and industrial workshops, making the tool versatile in use.
The PH2 size matches Phillips screws with a diameter of 3-5 mm. The Phillips profile transfers torque better than slotted screws, minimising the risk of slipping. PH2 is the most commonly used size in automotive and electronics work.
The 50 mm length allows work in recesses and narrow spaces where standard bits are too short. It provides sufficient reach for screws located in recesses and mounting holes.
Manufactured from tool steel, it is resistant to twisting and wear. The hardened tip retains its profile shape even under intensive use, which extends the service life of the tool and protects screws from damage.

The bit socket works with all tools fitted with a 3/8" drive: manual and air ratchets, torque wrenches, impact drivers, as well as extension bars and universal joints. Before use, check that the retaining ball in the tool engages the bit correctly.
Before starting work, check that the tip is correctly seated in the tool drive and secured by the retaining ball. When tightening screws, avoid an excessive working angle — no more than 15 degrees from the screw axis, to prevent damage to the profile.
After use, clean the tip of any contamination and protect it with a thin film of oil. The bit socket must not be used as a chisel or a hammer. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion and extends the service life of the tool.
