A screwdriver bit with a 1/4" hex shank and a Phillips PH1 tip for use with impact drivers and drill drivers. The combination of a chrome-plated CrV6150 shank and an AISI S2 tip delivers durability in workshop conditions.
The chrome-plated shank is made from CrV6150 chrome vanadium steel, which resists wear and corrosion. The chrome plating increases surface hardness and makes cleaning easier after work involving contact with oils and greases.
The PH1 Phillips tip is made from AISI S2 tool steel with a nickel coating. This grade of steel resists twisting and impact, which matters during intensive work with impact drivers.
The 37 mm length is suitable for standard assembly conditions. The compact design provides access to fasteners in confined spaces, as typically found in installation work and furniture assembly.
The 1/4" hex (6.35 mm) shank fits standard cordless screwdrivers, hammer drills and magnetic bit holders. The universal shank ensures a secure fit in the tool holder.

A PH1 tip fits cross-head screws 3.0–5.0 mm in diameter. If in doubt, check that the tip fits the screw recess – the correct size prevents damage to the slots and ensures full torque when driving the screw.
Before starting work, check that the bit is seated securely in the screwdriver chuck – play can damage the shank or the tip. While working, keep the tool axis perpendicular to the screw surface, which minimises wear on the Phillips tip.
After finishing work, clean the bit of dirt and any material residue. The chrome-plated shank and the nickel-plated tip do not require additional lubrication, but storing the bit in a dry place extends the life of the anti-corrosion coatings.
If the Phillips tip shows noticeable wear – rounded edges or deformation – replace the bit. Working with a damaged tip destroys the slots in screws and increases the risk of the tool slipping.
