A complete set of bonded sealing washers in ten metric thread sizes from M6 to M24. The self-centring design ensures leak-tight threaded connections in hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
Technical characteristics
Self-centring design
The steel body with a precisely formed recess automatically centres the rubber on the thread. This eliminates the risk of leaks caused by the seal shifting during fitting.
NBR (nitrile) rubber
A sealing material resistant to mineral oils, fuels and most hydraulic fluids. Operating temperature range: -30°C to +100°C. Good flexibility and compression resistance.
Steel body
The steel metal part provides mechanical stability and even load distribution. It protects the rubber from damage during tightening.
Comprehensive range of sizes
The set covers the most common metric thread diameters used in industrial and workshop installations. The higher quantity of M12-M20 washers reflects how frequently they are used.

How to choose the right washer size
The M6-M24 marking refers to the diameter of the metric thread on which the washer is fitted. For example, an M12 bolt requires an M12 washer. The washer should be fitted between the nut and the sealing surface, with the rubber facing the component to be sealed.
Properties of NBR rubber
Nitrile rubber (NBR – Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) offers good chemical resistance to:
- Mineral and synthetic oils
- Fuels (petrol, diesel)
- Mineral-based hydraulic fluids
- Glycols and aliphatic alcohols
Limitations of NBR rubber
Nitrile rubber is not resistant to polar solvents (ketones, esters), oils and fuels containing aromatic additives, ozone or prolonged UV exposure. It is not suitable for contact with drinking water (which requires sanitary approvals).
Installation and use
Before fitting, check that the sealing surfaces are clean – remove any dirt, remnants of the old gasket and corrosion. Place the washer with its rubber side facing the surface to be sealed. Tighten evenly, increasing the torque in stages to avoid deforming the washer.
The recommended tightening torque depends on the thread size and the material of the component being sealed. Do not exceed the maximum torque for the relevant bolt property class. Overtightening can permanently deform the rubber and cause it to lose its sealing properties.
Storage
Store the washers at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of ozone (such as electrical equipment that produces sparks). NBR rubber ages naturally – the recommended storage period should not exceed 3 years.
