Butterfly Parking Barrier YATO YT-55741
Folding parking barrier for securing parking spaces, driveways and private areas. The powder-coated steel construction provides weather resistance and long-term use.
Parking barrier features
Folding butterfly design
The folding mechanism allows the barrier to be lowered and raised easily without dismantling. When raised, the barrier effectively blocks vehicle access; when folded down, vehicles can pass freely.
Anti-corrosion powder coating
The powder coating forms a durable protective layer resistant to scratches, UV radiation and moisture. It protects the steel against corrosion in variable weather conditions throughout the year.
Reinforced mounting base
The 15 × 15 cm base made from 3 mm plate ensures secure fixing to the ground. Mounting hole spacing of 12 × 12 cm makes installation easier on concrete and asphalt surfaces.
Compatible with YATO padlocks
The barrier is designed to be secured with padlocks from the YATO range (77004, 77005, 77006, 77210, 77211, 77612, 77618). The padlock is not included and must be purchased separately.

Installation and use
Preparing for installation
The barrier must be installed on a hard surface – concrete, asphalt or block paving. The mounting base with 12 × 12 cm hole spacing is fixed to the ground using expansion bolts or anchor bolts (the fixing hardware should be selected to suit the type of surface).
Operating the folding mechanism
Once the padlock is unlocked, the barrier can be lowered into the horizontal position, allowing a vehicle to pass. Raising the barrier into the vertical position and securing it with the padlock effectively prevents access. The mechanism requires no lubrication or special maintenance.
Choosing a security padlock
YATO padlocks from the 77004-77618 range fit the barrier. A model resistant to weather conditions (with a cylinder cover) and with a suitable security rating is recommended. Padlocks with a longer shackle make it easier to fit them onto the locking mechanism.
