Cable ties made from PA6.6 polyamide, designed for securing and organising electrical wiring, installation cables and mounting components. The set contains 100 white ties measuring 100 mm long and 2.5 mm wide.
Modified polyamide 6.6 with UL certification provides high mechanical strength and a breaking strength of up to 8 kg. The P4V2 designation indicates the material's flame retardancy in accordance with UL94, which improves safety in electrical installations.
UV stabilisation protects against degradation from solar radiation, making the ties suitable for outdoor use. Resistance to greases and oils allows them to be used in industrial and automotive environments without the risk of the grip weakening.
The even internal teeth of the locking head allow precise adjustment of the loop diameter. The ratchet mechanism prevents the tie from loosening on its own once closed, ensuring a durable connection without the need for additional tools.
Ties measuring 100 mm long can encompass a cable bundle of up to 20 mm in diameter. At smaller diameters, the excess strap can be cut off with snips or left as an aid to later identification or removal.

Measure the circumference of the bundle of wires to be secured. The length of the tie should exceed this circumference by around 30-40 mm to allow it to be fitted and closed comfortably. For bundles 15-20 mm in diameter, 100 mm ties are a suitable choice. At smaller diameters, shorter ties are worth considering for a neater appearance and to save material.
Fitting a tie involves passing the free end through the locking head and pulling it to the required tension. The excess strap can be cut off close to the head or left as a grip to make removal easier. PA6.6 ties are designed for single use – once closed, they can only be removed by cutting.
In outdoor applications, the white colour may yellow under the influence of UV, although this does not affect the mechanical strength thanks to the material's stabilisation. In environments exposed to oils and greases, periodic inspection of the ties is recommended, particularly at critical points of the installation.
Storing the ties in their original packaging at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, extends their shelf life. PA6.6 is hygroscopic – it can absorb moisture from the air, which in extreme cases slightly affects flexibility but does not reduce strength.
