YATO YT-70659 Cable Ties 760 × 12.6 mm – Black, 50 pcs
Cable ties made from PA66 polyamide for organising cable bundles, securing wires and fastening components. The 760 mm length allows bundles of up to 205 mm in diameter to be tied.
Features of the YATO 760 mm cable ties
Material – PA66 polyamide
An engineering plastic characterised by resistance to stretching, mechanical wear and solvents. It retains its properties at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, which makes it suitable for outdoor installations and for those exposed to variable conditions.
114 kg tensile strength
A parameter defining the maximum tensile force at which the tie fails. A value of 114 kg allows heavy cable bundles to be secured safely in industrial installations where dynamic loads occur.
Maximum bundle diameter 205 mm
The 760 mm length allows bundles with a circumference of up to approximately 645 mm to be wrapped, which corresponds to a diameter of approximately 205 mm. This parameter is important when planning cable organisation in electrical enclosures and along cable runs.
Flammability rating UL-94 V-2
A rating that defines how the material behaves on contact with fire. Class V-2 means that the material extinguishes within 30 seconds of the ignition source being removed, which meets the requirements for low-risk electrical installation applications.

How to choose the right cable tie
When choosing a cable tie, take into account the bundle diameter (with a 15–20% margin for future expansion), the required load (the tensile strength should be at least twice the expected load) and the operating conditions – UV-resistant material is essential for outdoor installations, while a suitable temperature rating is required for environments with elevated temperatures.
Use and maintenance
Fitting a cable tie involves feeding the tail through the locking head and pulling it tight until the correct tension is reached. The internal teeth prevent the tie from slipping back. Once fitted, any excess length can be cut off with a knife or side cutters.
Cable ties require no maintenance. Avoid reusing them – once cut, they lose their mechanical properties. If a bundle needs to be loosened, the tie must be cut and a new one fitted. When fitting in sub-zero temperatures, the material may be less flexible – it is advisable to keep the ties at room temperature before use.
The condition of cable ties in installations should be checked during scheduled inspections. Signs of degradation include cracks, colour fading (in the case of materials with UV-stabilising pigments) and loss of flexibility. Ties used in extreme conditions (high temperatures, contact with chemicals) require more frequent inspection.
