Cable ties made from PA6.6 polyamide, designed for bundling and organising cables and wires, and for securing components in electrical installations, workshops and industrial applications. The set contains 100 ties measuring 370 mm in length and 4.8 mm in width.
Features of the cable ties
PA6.6 UL P4V2 material - NYLON
Modified polyamide provides resistance to tearing, mechanical damage, UV radiation and the effects of grease and oil. The material retains its properties across a wide temperature range, allowing use in workshop and industrial conditions.
Tensile strength 22 kg
A tensile strength of up to 22 kg allows cable bundles of up to 100 mm in diameter to be secured safely. This parameter defines the maximum load at which the tie retains its structural integrity without the locking head cracking.
370 mm length and 100 mm bundle diameter
The 370 mm length allows a cable bundle of up to 100 mm in diameter to be encircled. This parameter is crucial when selecting ties for a particular installation – measure the bundle circumference and add an allowance for closing the locking mechanism.
Toothed locking mechanism

How to choose the right size of cable tie
To determine the required tie size, measure the circumference of the cable bundle with a tape measure or a piece of string. Add 30-50 mm to the result as an allowance for closing the mechanism. For bundles of 100 mm in diameter (circumference of approximately 314 mm), a 370 mm tie provides a suitable safety margin.
Use and maintenance
Cable ties are fitted by threading the tail through the locking head and then pulling it tight until the bundle is held under the required pressure. Once the mechanism is closed, the excess length can be cut off with shears or side cutters.
PA6.6 polyamide retains its properties at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, making the ties suitable for use both inside buildings and in outdoor installations. The black colour indicates the addition of UV stabilisers, which increase resistance to degradation from sunlight.
If the connection needs to be opened again, the tie must be cut and replaced with a new one – the locking mechanism operates in one direction only and cannot be reused.
Storing cable ties
Cable ties should be stored in a dry room, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The storage temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid contact with organic solvents, which can weaken the polyamide structure.
