Cable ties made from PA66 polyamide, designed for organising electrical wiring, securing components and tying off cable bundles in domestic, workshop and industrial installations.
PA66 polyamide provides high mechanical strength, flexibility across a wide temperature range and long-term durability. The material has low hygroscopicity and resists oils, solvents and most of the chemicals used in industrial installations.
This parameter defines the maximum load a cable tie can withstand before breaking. A value of 55 kg means that heavy cable bundles up to 105 mm in diameter, as well as structural components requiring a secure fixing, can be safely secured.
The cable ties are designed for outdoor use – they do not degrade under sunlight. They retain their mechanical properties over a long service life in weather-exposed conditions, which makes them suitable for garden and façade installations.
A certified flammability rating to the UL-94 standard means that the material extinguishes within 30 seconds of the ignition source being removed. This is an important parameter in electrical installations, where materials with controlled fire properties are required under safety regulations.

A maximum bundle diameter of 105 mm corresponds to a circumference of approximately 330 mm. When choosing a cable tie, allowance must be made for working clearance – the optimum fill of the circumference is 70-80% of the cable tie length. For bundles 80-100 mm in diameter, a 400 mm cable tie provides a secure closure with sufficient allowance for the locking mechanism.
The cable ties have a one-way ratchet mechanism – once fitted, they can only be tightened further, with no possibility of loosening. Removal requires cutting the cable tie. The design maintains constant tension and eliminates the risk of self-loosening during use.
PA66 polyamide cable ties remain flexible at temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. At low temperatures the material may become stiffer, which calls for care during installation. At high temperatures the polyamide retains its mechanical strength, although prolonged exposure above 85°C may lead to gradual degradation.
The white colour of the cable ties makes them easy to identify in indoor installations and helps with labelling cable bundles. In outdoor applications the colour may yellow under UV exposure, which does not affect the mechanical properties thanks to the stabilisers built into the material structure.
