Replacement carburettor designed for Stihl MS230 and MS250 chainsaws. A component responsible for preparing the fuel-air mixture in a two-stroke engine.
The carburettor is manufactured as a replacement for the original component. It retains the mounting dimensions and operating parameters in line with the manufacturer's specification for Stihl MS230 and MS250 chainsaws.
The 32 mm mounting hole spacing ensures direct compatibility with the original mounting points in the chainsaw body. External dimensions: width 68 mm, height 41 mm, depth 30 mm.
The carburettor is responsible for mixing fuel with air in the correct proportions. It regulates the flow of the mixture into the combustion chamber depending on engine load and throttle position.
The component is designed for fitting in a petrol chainsaw as part of the fuel system of a two-stroke engine. It works in conjunction with the air filter, primer bulb and ignition system.

Before purchase, check the chainsaw model on the rating plate. The carburettor fits Stihl MS230 and MS250 models. The key mounting parameter is the 32 mm hole spacing – it is worth measuring this on the carburettor being removed.
Replacing the carburettor requires removing the air filter cover and disconnecting the fuel lines and throttle linkage. Once the new carburettor is fitted, the idle speed screw and the mixture adjustment screw must be adjusted. The adjustment procedure should be carried out in accordance with the chainsaw manufacturer's instructions.
After replacing the carburettor, it is advisable to check the fuel connections for leaks and confirm that the primer bulb works correctly. The first start-up of the engine should be carried out with care, observing idle stability and the response to opening the throttle.
A new carburettor requires basic adjustment. The adjustment screws (L – low-speed mixture, H – high-speed mixture, LA – idle speed) should be set to the factory values for the given chainsaw model. Precise adjustment is carried out once the engine has warmed up.
