A protective face shield designed to protect the face and eyes during mechanical and manual work that produces flying debris. Made from polycarbonate with optical class 1 and class B mechanical strength.
Optical class 1 denotes the highest quality of vision with no distortion. The face shield is suitable for prolonged use throughout a full work shift without eyestrain. This parameter is particularly important for precision work that requires good visibility of details.
The class B mechanical strength certification confirms resistance to impact from a steel particle 6 mm in diameter, with a mass of 0.86 g, travelling at 120 m/s. It provides increased protection when grinding, cutting metal and carrying out other work that generates fast-moving fragments.
The visor, made from PC polycarbonate, offers high impact resistance while retaining optical clarity. The material is scratch-resistant, lighter than glass and does not shatter on impact. Its clear construction does not distort colour perception.
The plastic headband allows the shield to be adjusted to the circumference of the head. The plastic brow guard provides additional protection for the upper part of the face. The unit weighs 338 g – a balance between protection and wearing comfort.

The EN166 standard sets out the requirements for eye protection at work. It covers tests for mechanical strength, optical quality, resistance to corrosion and fogging. A product that meets this standard has undergone testing that confirms it is safe to use in industrial conditions.
Before each use, check the condition of the visor – cracks, deep scratches or dulling of the material mean the face shield must be taken out of service. The polycarbonate visor should be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent. Do not use organic solvents, acetone or abrasive pastes.
The headband is adjusted by setting it to the size of the head – the face shield should fit securely without excessive pressure. After use, store the product in a place protected from direct sunlight and high temperatures, which may affect the mechanical properties of the polycarbonate.
Category II denotes a medium risk – the product protects against moderate mechanical hazards. It requires the manufacturer's declaration of conformity, but does not require certification by a notified body. It is suitable for most workshop and gardening tasks.
