A combination spanner with both open-end and ring ends in a 26 mm size. A workshop tool designed for fitting and removing nuts and bolt heads in mechanical, hydraulic and service work.
The smooth inner surface of the ring reduces friction during use, which limits the risk of damage to the protective coatings on nuts. The precisely matched profile distributes force evenly across all edges of the fastener.
The ring head is offset by 15° from the shaft axis, making it possible to work in confined spaces. With each 30° turn (two spanner positions) the nut can be tightened or loosened without removing the tool.
The electroplated chrome layer protects the steel against corrosion and oxidation. The satin finish reduces glare during use and makes it easier to read the size engraved on the shaft.
The 310 mm length provides adequate leverage on M26 nuts. The thickness of the open-end head (S1: 9.2 mm) and the ring head (S2: 12.9 mm) allows access to fasteners in typical workshop applications.

The 26 mm size corresponds to nuts and bolt heads with an M26 metric thread. Before starting work, check that the spanner sits against all six edges of the fastener without play. Play may indicate a worn nut or a dimensional mismatch (for example, an imperial size).
Always select a combination spanner that fits the nut completely. Using a tool of the wrong size rounds off the edges of the fastener. When tightening, pull the spanner towards you rather than pushing it away – this gives better control over the applied force and is safer if the joint suddenly slackens.
The ring end is used for work in confined spaces and for tightening to a controlled torque. The open end is ideal for initially loosening heavily tightened joints and in places where the ring end cannot reach.
After use, clean the spanner of dirt and dry it. The chrome finish should be wiped periodically with a cloth and a light protective agent, particularly after contact with moisture or chemicals. Storing the spanner in a dry place prevents contact corrosion when it is kept with other metal tools.
