0–45° bevel cutting

Use and maintenance
Before first use, make sure the mains voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz. The 2 m cable may require an extension lead when working in larger areas — use extension leads with a conductor cross-section matched to the tool's power rating (min. 1.5 mm²). The zinc base plate needs to be cleaned of chips and dust after each use, which prevents scratching the workpiece. Blades should be replaced as soon as signs of bluntness appear — working with a blunt blade increases cutting resistance and motor load.
Choosing a blade
The KD1674 jigsaw is compatible with standard T-shank blades (the most widely used standard). For wood, use blades with coarser teeth (TPI 6–10); for metal, fine-toothed blades (TPI 18–24); for plastics, blades with a medium tooth pitch or specialist laminate blades.
