T-shank blades designed for cutting metal in electric jigsaws. The set contains 5 blades with 21 TPI toothing, compatible with most jigsaws fitted with T-shank holders.
T-shank blades have a standardised shank with a single groove. This system makes them compatible with jigsaws from Bosch, Makita, DeWalt, Metabo, Black+Decker and most other manufacturers. The blades are fitted without tools using a quick-release clamping system.
The 21 TPI (teeth per inch) marking specifies the number of teeth per inch of blade length. This tooth density delivers precise cutting of sheet metal and metal sections up to 3 mm thick. The more teeth per inch, the smoother the cut edge and the lower the risk of chipping the material.
The blades are designed for cutting stainless steel, structural steel, aluminium, copper and other non-ferrous metals. The tooth geometry and blade material are matched to the mechanical properties of metals, preventing overheating and premature blunting of the cutting edge.
The pack contains 5 blades, which allows medium-sized projects to be completed without frequently restocking. The set is a cost-effective option compared with buying individual blades, particularly for intensive use.

Before buying, check the type of blade holder in your jigsaw. The T-shank is standard on most modern models. Older machines may have a U-shank holder (with two grooves). The holder type is stated in the jigsaw's instruction manual or on the packaging of previously purchased blades.
When cutting metal, set the jigsaw to a low speed (1500-2000 rpm) and switch off the pendulum action. The use of a coolant or cutting oil is recommended, as this extends blade life and improves cut quality. The material should be clamped firmly to the work surface to prevent vibration.
Safety glasses must be worn when cutting metal, as metal swarf may fly off. Protective gloves and safety footwear are also recommended. Disconnect the jigsaw from the power supply before changing the blade. Blades may be hot after use – wait for them to cool before touching them.
