Stainless steel bristles
Wire made from stainless steel is resistant to corrosion when working in damp conditions. It retains the stiffness and springiness of the bristles throughout its service life, which translates into consistent surface cleaning performance.
38 mm cylinder diameter
The compact 38 mm diameter allows access to narrow spaces, grooves, holes and hard-to-reach places. The brush is ideal for cleaning welds, edges, corners and parts with complex geometry.
8 mm steel shank

Compatibility with power tools
The 8 mm shank can be mounted in drill and cordless driver chucks, which allows the cleaning process to be mechanised. During power-tool operation, a speed of 1,000 to 3,000 rpm should be used, depending on the material of the surface being cleaned.
Use and maintenance
When using a wire brush, safety glasses and work gloves should be worn, as small fragments of wire and dust from the surface being cleaned may break off. The brush requires regular cleaning to remove accumulated contamination, by tapping it out or blowing it through with compressed air.
Stainless steel bristles retain their performance characteristics even after contact with moisture, but it is advisable to store the tool in dry conditions. Worn bristles are indicated by a reduction in wire length and reduced cleaning effectiveness - in this case the brush should be replaced with a new one.
Selecting the working parameters
The intensity of cleaning depends on the pressure applied to the brush and the number of passes. For delicate surfaces, working with lower pressure and checking the effect after each pass is recommended. Hardened or heavily corroded surfaces require greater pressure and multiple passes.
