Deep impact socket designed for pneumatic or electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome molybdenum CrMo steel, it delivers durability when working with high torque.
CrMo steel is characterised by increased resistance to impact loads and twisting. The addition of chromium and molybdenum raises the hardness of the steel while maintaining its ductility, which prevents the socket from cracking during impact wrench use. This steel also offers better corrosion resistance than standard tool steels.
The deep version of the socket allows access to bolts and nuts located deep inside mounting recesses or obscured by structural components. It is used for work on suspension components, exhaust systems and hard-to-reach areas under the bonnet.
The 1/2" (12.7 mm) size is the standard for professional pneumatic and electric tools. It provides sufficient strength to transmit torque in the 100-300 Nm range, typical of impact wrenches in this class. Compatible with most impact wrenches used in workshops.
The 10 mm socket is designed for hex bolts and nuts of this spanner size. It is used when fitting fasteners with an M6 thread, commonly found in automotive and general mechanical work. Precision-machined internal walls minimise play and the risk of rounding off the head edges.

The socket is intended solely for pneumatic or electric impact wrenches. It must not be used with torque wrenches or manual ratchets, as this risks damaging the mechanism. Before fitting, check that the socket drive engages correctly with the ball detent on the wrench.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and protect it with a thin layer of oil. Regular lubrication of the drive helps prevent corrosion and makes it easier to fit onto the wrench anvil. Store sockets in a dry place, ideally in organisers or tool drawers.
