A deep impact socket with 3/4" drive, designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from chrome-molybdenum steel (CR-MO), which absorbs the dynamic loads generated by impact tools. The extended profile allows access to bolts and nuts seated deep in recesses or on long threads.
Impact sockets require a material capable of absorbing sudden dynamic loads. CR-MO steel is more flexible than CR-V, so it does not crack under impact but deforms elastically and returns to its original shape. This is a key property when working with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches.
The greater length of the socket compared with the standard version allows work on bolts seated deep in structural recesses, on long studs, or in places where a standard socket cannot reach the bolt head. Particularly useful for fitting wheels, suspension and steel structures.
The 3/4" socket is the standard used in professional high-torque impact tools intended for heavy industrial and workshop work. Before buying, make sure that the impact wrench has a 3/4" square drive — an adaptor can be used if necessary.
The socket is fitted with a hole that allows a retaining pin or O-ring to be used. This retainer prevents the socket from accidentally dropping off the drive during work, which is important when using high-torque impact tools — especially in inverted positions or under intense vibration.
