Diamond blade with a continuous rim designed for wet cutting of ceramic materials, porcelain stoneware and glazed tiles. The 180 mm diameter makes it compatible with standard angle grinders.
Having no slots in the rim delivers a smooth, chip-free cut edge, which is essential for finishing work on ceramic tiles and glass. It eliminates the risk of the material cracking during cutting.
The thickness of the diamond layer determines the service life of the blade. A 5.3 mm segment allows around 40-60 linear metres of ceramic tiles to be cut before the working layer wears out, depending on the hardness of the material.
A thinner blade reduces drag during cutting and the amount of material removed, which translates into less load on the grinder motor and a faster working pace. Optimal for materials of medium hardness.
Water cooling during cutting lowers the blade temperature by 200-300°C, which extends the life of the diamond segment and prevents the material from overheating. It reduces dust by 95% compared with dry cutting.

The 25.4 mm (1 inch) bore diameter is the standard used in 1200-2400 W angle grinders and electric tile saws. Before fitting the blade, check the tool's maximum speed - it must not exceed 8000 rpm for safe operation.
Before starting work, the blade must be fitted to a bench tile saw or an angle grinder with a water feed. The water jet should be directed straight at the point where the blade meets the material.
Recommended speeds for different materials: ceramic tiles 6000-8000 rpm, porcelain stoneware 5000-7000 rpm, glass 4000-6000 rpm. Lower speeds increase the precision of cuts on delicate materials.
The blade needs replacing when the segment height drops below 2 mm or when the cutting time increases noticeably by more than 50%. Using a worn blade causes the material to overheat and increases the risk of cracking.
After finishing work, clean the blade of water and mineral deposits. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion of the steel body and extends the life of the tool.
