A continuous rim diamond blade designed for cutting hard building materials such as concrete, ceramics, granite and brick. The continuous rim delivers a smooth, chip-free cut, making the blade suitable for both dry and wet cutting.
The segment contains 20% JR4 grade synthetic diamond. A higher percentage of diamond in the bond translates directly into a longer-lasting cutting edge and faster cutting of hard mineral materials.
The core is made from cobalt-nickel steel with a copper addition. This alloy choice increases resistance to cracking when working at high angular speeds and improves heat dissipation from the cutting zone.
A cutting edge in the form of a continuous ring (without slots) generates less vibration and delivers a cleaner, smoother cut than segmented blades. It performs particularly well on materials prone to chipping, such as ceramics and granite.
The blade is suitable for both modes of operation. Wet cutting extends blade life and reduces dust. Dry cutting is permitted, but requires breaks in work to avoid overheating the segment.

The 22.23 mm bore is the standard size used on 125 mm angle grinders (commonly known as "5-inch grinders"). Before purchase, check the maximum permissible spindle speed of the tool — it must not exceed the 12,000 rpm stated on the blade.
Before first use, check that the blade shows no visible mechanical damage — cracks, chipping or deformation of the core. The blade should only be fitted to angle grinders with a flange that matches the 22.23 mm bore and with a suitable guard.
When dry cutting, make short passes (a few seconds at a time) with cooling breaks; this prevents the bond from overheating and the segment from wearing prematurely. For wet cutting, ensure a constant supply of water to the cutting zone. The blade is not suitable for grinding with its side surface — it is intended for cutting only.
A worn or damaged blade must be replaced. Continuing to work with a cracked blade or an excessively worn segment poses a safety risk.
