A diamond grinding disc with a Type S segment, designed for aggressive stock removal and levelling of concrete, stone, ceramic and masonry surfaces. The S segment delivers intensive cutting action while heat is dissipated through the ventilation holes, which extends the working life of the tool.
The geometry of the S segment allows intensive cutting and rapid levelling of horizontal surfaces. It performs particularly well where substantial stock has to be removed in a short time.
Ventilation channels in the disc dissipate the heat generated during grinding. A lower working temperature translates directly into slower wear of the diamond segments and a longer tool life.
The disc is designed for use with vacuum cleaners and dust extraction systems connected to angle grinders or floor grinders. This reduces the amount of dust in the workplace, which matters both for safety and for the quality of the ground surface.
A 22.2 mm bore is the common standard for 125 mm class angle grinders. Before fitting, make sure that the machine's spindle speed does not exceed the maximum 12,200 rpm stated by the manufacturer.

The KD1956 disc is designed for grinding and levelling horizontal surfaces made of hard building materials. Typical applications include:
Before fitting, check two parameters of the machine: the spindle diameter (it must match the 22.2 mm bore) and the maximum speed (it must not exceed the 12,200 rpm stated on the disc). This information can be found in the grinder's technical documentation or on its rating plate. Using the disc at a speed higher than the permitted one may damage it and poses a safety risk.
