A tool designed for drilling holes in hard ceramic and stone materials. Fitted with a diamond coating, it enables precise drilling of installation holes in porcelain, clinker and ceramic tiles.
Diamond-coated cutting segments ensure effective drilling in the hardest materials. Synthetic diamonds embedded in a metal matrix enable fast, precise cutting of glazed porcelain, porcelain, granite and marble without excessive tool wear.
The M14 thread is the standard fitting used on most angle grinders available on the European market. The hole saw mounts directly onto the grinder spindle without the need for adaptors, which shortens set-up time and increases stability while drilling.
The hole saw's design allows both water-cooled (wet) and non-cooled (dry) operation. Water cooling extends tool life and reduces dust, while dry drilling is more convenient for small holes and short drilling sessions.
A working diameter of 30 mm suits typical installation applications – fitting flush-mounted back boxes, small-diameter ventilation ducts and decorative elements. A hole of this diameter can be drilled with a standard 115-125 mm angle grinder.

Before fitting the hole saw, check that the M14 thread on the grinder is clean and undamaged. Screw the hole saw on by hand, then tighten it firmly with a spanner. Before you start drilling, mark the centre of the hole and make a shallow score to prevent the tool from slipping.
Hold the grinder at an angle of about 45 degrees when you start drilling, gradually straightening it as it enters the material. Keep the pressure steady but moderate – excessive force can overheat the tool or crack the material. When drilling dry, take short breaks every 10-15 seconds to let the hole saw cool down.
Wet drilling significantly extends the hole saw's service life and improves cut quality. A continuous stream of water from a bottle or cooling system can be used, directed straight at the drilling point. Water cooling is particularly recommended when drilling hard full-body porcelain and natural stone.
After use, clean the hole saw of deposits and dust, then dry it. Periodically grease the M14 thread with assembly grease to prevent it seizing on the grinder spindle. Store the hole saw in a dry place, protected from mechanical knocks that could damage the diamond segments.
