Diesel Generator 17/18 kW KRAFT&DELE KD154
The KD154 is a three-phase diesel generator fitted with a two-cylinder V-twin engine with electric start. The generator operates at 50 Hz and supplies power to both 230V and 400V sockets, making it possible to power a wide range of single- and three-phase equipment.
Technical features
AVR voltage stabilisation
An automatic voltage regulator (AVR) maintains stable output parameters regardless of changes in load. This is crucial when powering equipment that is sensitive to voltage fluctuations, such as electric motors, pumps or electronic devices.
Intelligent Throttle Technology
A microprocessor-based engine speed control system adjusts the rpm to the current power demand. At low load, the engine runs at a lower speed, which reduces fuel consumption and noise, and extends engine service life.
2V95F V-twin engine
The two-cylinder V-twin design with a displacement of 1247 cm³ and a compression ratio of 20:1 ensures stable operation under full load. The engine's rated output is 20 kW at 3000 rpm, providing sufficient power headroom for the generator's rated load.
100% copper generator winding
A winding made from pure copper (as opposed to aluminium) has lower resistance and better heat dissipation. This translates into higher electrical efficiency and a lower risk of overheating during prolonged operation under heavy load.

Protections and indicators
The generator is fitted with overload protection, an oil level indicator (with automatic shutdown if the level is too low), a voltage indicator and an overload warning light. Economy mode (eco) can be activated manually using a dedicated switch. The model is supplied without an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) module — this module is available as a separate optional extra, enabling automatic switchover to generator power in the event of a mains failure.
Mobility and installation
The generator frame is fitted with transport wheels, which makes it easier to move the 297 kg unit around the place of use. Because of the air cooling, adequate room ventilation is required, or the unit must be operated outdoors. The generator is not intended for use in enclosed, unventilated spaces.
