Diesel Generator 8/9 kW 230V – KD3249
The KD3249 is a single-phase diesel generator designed to power 230V electrical equipment in locations with no mains supply, or as a standby power source. Its single-cylinder, 4-stroke direct-injection engine delivers reliable operation at continuous loads of up to 8 kW and peak loads of up to 9 kW.
Key features
Microprocessor-controlled throttle
The system automatically adjusts engine speed to the current power demand. At low loads the engine runs at a lower speed, which means lower diesel consumption and reduced noise when operating below full load.
Dual starting system
The generator has both electric start (key-operated) and recoil start (pull cord). Electric start speeds up starting under normal conditions, while the recoil start provides an independent option should the starter battery be flat.
Direct-injection engine
The single-cylinder vertical air-cooled 4-stroke engine with direct fuel injection has a simple design and low servicing requirements. The absence of a liquid cooling system removes the risk of failures caused by coolant leaks.
Running monitoring and voltage control
A built-in voltmeter provides a live reading of the output voltage without the need for external measuring instruments. An oil warning light indicates when the lubricant level is too low, preventing engine damage caused by running without adequate lubrication.
