An office safe with an electronic digital lock, designed for storing documents, cash and valuables. Steel construction with the option of mounting to a wall or floor.
The electronic digital lock allows an individual access code to be programmed. It removes the need to carry keys for everyday use. Access to the contents requires knowledge of the set numeric code.
The body is made from steel sheet, which provides mechanical resistance. The wall thickness protects against basic break-in attempts. The material is resistant to deformation and mechanical damage.
Override keys allow the safe to be opened in the event of an electronics failure or a forgotten code. This protects against total loss of access to the contents. The keys should be kept in a secure place outside the safe.
The monitoring system warns of a low battery charge before it is completely drained. This prevents the safe from being locked out when the power runs out. The batteries can be replaced without losing the set code.
Mounting holes allow the safe to be secured to a wall or floor. Mounting increases resistance to theft of the whole unit. It requires the use of suitable anchors matched to the surface.
The 35x25x25 cm dimensions allow installation in cupboards, office cabinets or wall recesses. The capacity is sufficient for A4 documents, cash, jewellery and small valuables.

Before first use, programme an individual PIN code in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The code should consist of digits that are not obvious to others. Avoid dates of birth, telephone numbers and other combinations that are easy to guess. The code can be changed at any time while the safe is open.
Replace the AA batteries once the low battery warning signal appears. Replacing the batteries does not erase the programmed code. Replacement is recommended every 12 months at standard frequency of use. Use 1.5V alkaline batteries.
Mount the safe to a load-bearing masonry wall or concrete floor. Use expansion bolts with a minimum diameter of 8 mm and a length suited to the thickness of the safe wall. Mounting in a concealed location increases the level of security. Before mounting, check the location of electrical cables and water pipes.
Store the override keys in a separate, secure place away from the safe. Do not leave the keys in the lock or in the immediate vicinity of the safe. Consider giving a spare set to a trusted person or placing it in a bank safe deposit box.
