Outdoor key safe with a 4-digit combination lock, designed for wall mounting. The body is made from aluminium alloy with 10-12 mm thick walls, providing protection against forced entry.
Side walls 10-12 mm thick, made from aluminium alloy. This construction increases resistance to mechanical break-in attempts — the lock is harder to prise off and the housing harder to damage with impact.
Mechanical combination lock with 10,000 possible combinations (digits 0-9 across four positions). It requires no batteries and the code can be changed as needed. Access without having to carry keys.
Plastic cover protecting the lock mechanism from rain, snow and dust. Important for outdoor installation — it limits moisture reaching the combination mechanism.
The wall plugs supplied with the kit allow the key safe to be permanently fixed to concrete, brick or wooden walls. Installation requires drilling holes to match the spacing of the fixing points.

The factory code should be changed before first use. The procedure for changing the code normally involves opening the key safe and resetting the internal mechanism in line with the manufacturer's instructions. The code should be known only to authorised persons.
The key safe can be installed outdoors, but it is advisable to choose a location sheltered from direct rain (e.g. under an overhang or in a recess in the wall). The protective cover reduces, but does not completely eliminate, the risk of the mechanism corroding with prolonged exposure to moisture.
Every few months it is worth checking that the combination lock operates smoothly. With outdoor installation, periodically clean dust and dirt from the protective cover. If opening becomes difficult, a penetrating lubricant can be used (not graphite grease, which attracts dust).
