Drill Bit Sharpener KD10577 – KRAFT&DELE
An HSS drill bit sharpening attachment designed to be fitted in the chuck of a standard drill driver or drill. It lets you restore the cutting edge geometry of drill bits from 2 to 12.5 mm yourself, with no need for a bench grinder or specialist workshop equipment.
Features
Three sharpening slots
The sharpener has three separate slots matched to different drill bit diameter ranges. This keeps the bit guided at a constant, correct angle throughout sharpening, so both cutting edges are restored evenly.
Powered by a drill driver or drill
The tool mounts directly in the chuck of a cordless drill driver or mains-powered drill. It needs no separate power source. To sharpen, simply grip the sharpener's shank in the chuck and press the bit against the chosen slot.
Plastic housing
The body is made from a lightweight plastic that resists impact and scratching. The attachment's low weight does not overly load the tool's chuck and makes it easier to control during work.
2–12.5 mm diameter range
The supported range covers the drill bits most commonly used for working wood, metal and plastics. Bits below 2 mm or above 12.5 mm require a different sharpening method.

How to check compatibility with your drill driver or drill
The sharpener is designed to be fitted in a standard drill chuck. Before use, make sure the tool's chuck can grip the sharpener's shank — most drill drivers and drills on the market meet this condition. The speed of the driving tool should be set to the low or medium range, so that the sharpening process stays under control and the drill bit's edge does not overheat.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, check that the grinding wheels inside the slots are correctly seated — the set includes a spanner for adjusting or replacing the abrasive elements if required. Insert the drill bit into the appropriate slot (matched to its diameter) and press with moderate force while the drill driver is running. A few seconds of contact is usually enough to restore the cutting edges. After use, clean metal swarf from the sharpener and store it in a dry place.
