E-TORX socket with a 1/2" drive in E10 size, designed for use with external TORX fasteners. A YATO workshop tool made from chrome vanadium steel, designed for use with torque wrenches and ratchets with a 1/2" drive.
Features of the TORX 1/2" socket
External TORX profile (E-profile)
The "E" designation indicates the external TORX profile, used on security bolts in braking systems, gearboxes and chassis components. Size E10 corresponds to an external diameter of approximately 10 mm.
1/2" square drive

The difference between TORX and external TORX
The standard TORX profile (designation T) is used on screws with internal recesses. The external TORX profile (designation E) has a raised star shape and fits screws with external lugs. Before buying, check whether the screw has a recess (TORX T) or external lugs (TORX E).

The socket should be fitted onto the screw in a straight line, avoiding an angled position that could damage the profile.
