The Kraft&Dele KD10640 electric chainsaw is a 3100W transverse-motor machine designed for cutting wood in domestic and garden settings. Its 40 cm (16") guide bar allows cutting material up to 405 mm thick, covering both branches and thicker firewood logs.

3100W transverse motor
The transverse motor layout improves the saw's balance relative to the cutting axis, which translates into more stable control of the tool. The 3100W output allows work on hardwoods without a noticeable drop in chain speed.
Dual safety brake
The chain brake responds in under 0.12 seconds — both to sudden kickback and to manual activation via the front guard. The shorter reaction time reduces the risk of injury during a sudden kickback of the guide bar.
Automatic chain lubrication
A 200 ml oil tank feeds a pump that lubricates the chain during operation. Continuous lubrication limits wear on the chain and guide bar and reduces friction, which directly affects cutting efficiency and the service life of the working parts.
Metal chain tensioning mechanism
The metal tensioning adjustment ensures durability and precision of setting. Correct chain tension is crucial for safe operation — a chain that is too loose may come off the guide bar, while one that is too tight accelerates wear on both components.
Metal bucking spike
The bucking spike at the powerhead serves as a pivot point during cutting. It allows more confident control of the tool and reduces the effort needed to guide the saw through the wood, particularly when cutting thicker material.

Use and maintenance
Before starting the saw, check the oil level in the lubrication tank — running with an empty tank leads to rapid wear of the chain and guide bar. Use chainsaw oil for lubrication (gear oil or a dedicated chain oil).
Chain tension should be checked before every work session. A correctly tensioned chain can be pulled about 3–5 mm away from the guide bar and springs back into place. Tension is adjusted with the metal tensioning mechanism, with no additional tools required.
After finishing work, protect the guide bar with the supplied cover. Store the machine in a dry place, away from flammable substances.
