The KD1562 is a 12V DC electric winch designed for mounting on off-road vehicles and quads, and for stationary use in a workshop or garage. The unit operates with a pulling capacity of up to 3000 lbs (1361 kg) and is fitted with a three-stage planetary gearbox and a wireless remote control with a range of 20 m.
Technical features
1 kW induction motor
The 1 kW electric motor delivers constant torque while pulling. The higher motor output translates into a lower risk of overheating and jamming when the winch is operated close to its rated load.
Three-stage planetary gearbox
The 153:1 planetary gearbox, made from high-grade steel, transmits torque precisely. Three gear stages spread the load evenly across the mechanical components, which extends the service life of the assembly.
Wireless remote (20 m)
The supplied remote control allows the winch to be operated from up to 20 m away. This is particularly useful when recovering a vehicle single-handed, as the operator has to watch the rope tension and the direction of the vehicle at the same time.
Hook with safety latch
The hook is fitted with a mechanical safety latch that prevents the load from coming unhooked accidentally. This reduces the risk of the rope being released uncontrollably under load, which matters for safe operation.
