Endless sanding belt measuring 20x520mm with P60 grit, designed for pneumatic belt sanders. Made from aluminium oxide, it delivers efficient stock removal when working with wood, metal and plastics.
Features of the endless sanding belt
P60 grit for coarse sanding
P60 grit (grain diameter 265 µm) is intended for coarse sanding and the removal of thicker layers of material. It quickly levels out uneven surfaces, strips rust and old paint coatings, and is also suitable for chamfering edges.
Aluminium oxide abrasive
Aluminium oxide grains are wear-resistant and self-sharpening in use. This material performs well on hardwood, non-ferrous metals and structural steel, retaining its abrasive properties for longer.
Endless construction
The belt is formed into a closed loop, which eliminates the risk of tearing at the join. The endless construction gives even sanding with no interruptions or vibration, which improves both the quality of the finished surface and user comfort.

The belt format is suited to compact pneumatic belt sanders. The 520 mm length and 20 mm width allow work in hard-to-reach areas and on narrow components, profiles and edges.

Checking compatibility
Before buying, check which belt dimensions your sander accepts. Sizes are given in the format width × length – in this case 20 mm × 520 mm. Details of compatible sizes can be found in the tool's instruction manual or on the tool housing.
Use and maintenance
Endless sanding belts must be fitted correctly, observing the direction of rotation – the arrow on the inside of the belt must match the direction in which the drive roller turns. Apply even pressure while working and avoid excessive force, which accelerates grain wear and can overheat the workpiece.
Belt performance depends on the hardness of the material being worked and how intensively the belt is used. On softwood, a single P60 belt is enough to sand an area of around 2–3 m², whereas on metal the service life is shorter. A worn belt can be recognised by visibly smoothed grains, reduced sanding efficiency and increased heat generation.
Storing belts in a dry place, away from moisture and high temperatures, prevents degradation of the bonding agent that holds the abrasive grains to the backing. The pack of 10 allows belts to be rotated and provides a reserve for longer periods of work.
