A gun for applying polyurethane foam, with a plastic body and metal components. The tool allows precise dispensing of expanding foam during building, assembly and insulation work.
Features of the expanding foam gun
Hybrid construction
The plastic body reduces the weight of the tool, which limits fatigue during many hours of work. The key elements of the mechanism are made of metal, which ensures the durability of the components responsible for dispensing and securing the canister.
Canister mounting system
A threaded connector compatible with standard polyurethane foam canisters. The screw-on mechanism allows empty canisters to be replaced quickly without any additional tools.

Use and maintenance
Preparation for use
Before first use, check that the threaded connection is tight. Screw the foam canister on until it is fully seated, avoiding excessive force, which may damage the thread of the plastic body. Before application, shake the canister in accordance with the foam manufacturer's instructions.
Cleaning the gun
After finishing work, clean the nozzle and the dispensing mechanism with a dedicated polyurethane foam cleaner. Cured foam has to be removed mechanically, which may damage the plastic parts - regular cleaning prevents this problem.
Storage
Store the gun with a canister screwed on that is partly filled with foam, or with a cleaning canister attached. This protects the mechanism from the ingress of contaminants and keeps the dispensing channels clear between working sessions.
Personal protective equipment
Wear protective gloves when working with polyurethane foam - cured foam is difficult to remove from the skin. In enclosed rooms, ensure adequate ventilation because isocyanate vapours are released as the foam cures.
