An extension lead with three French-type (earthed) sockets and a 5-metre cable. Designed to power household appliances, office equipment and power tools indoors.
The H05VV-F designation refers to a PVC-insulated cable intended for indoor use. The 3G1.0mm² marking indicates three cores (live, neutral and earth), each with a cross-section of 1.0mm². This cross-section is sufficient to power appliances with a combined output of up to approximately 2300W at 230V.
Three sockets fitted with a Type E protective contact (earth) – a standard used in France, Poland, Belgium and other European countries. The earth connection carries away excess current if an appliance is faulty, minimising the risk of electric shock.
The five-metre cable allows appliances to be positioned flexibly around a room without the need for additional extension leads. It is useful where the wall socket is some distance from the working area.
The body is made from a thermoplastic material that provides electrical insulation and resistance to the typical mechanical damage encountered in domestic and office environments. The black colour reduces the visibility of dirt.

A cable with a cross-section of 1.0mm² safely carries a current of up to 10A at 230V, which corresponds to an output of approximately 2300W. The combined output of all connected appliances must not exceed this value. For example: computer (300W) + monitor (50W) + printer (400W) + lamp (60W) = 810W – well below the limit.
Before first use, check that the plug and sockets show no signs of mechanical damage. The extension lead is intended for indoor use only – it must not be used outdoors without additional protection against moisture.
During use, the cable should not be stretched or bent at a sharp angle. Avoid running the cable under carpets or in areas of heavy foot traffic, where the insulation could become damaged. When not in use, the cable should be coiled in loose loops without pulling it tight.
Check the condition of the extension lead regularly. If you notice cracks in the housing, melted plastic around the sockets or damage to the cable, stop using the device and replace it with a new one. Never repair an extension lead yourself by joining cables with insulating tape.
French-type (E) sockets work with Type C plugs (Euro, unearthed) and Type E/F plugs (earthed). Before connecting appliances from other regions (e.g. the UK, USA), use a suitable adapter, taking into account differences in voltage and current frequency.
