15m Extension Reel 3x1.5mm² — Kraft&Dele KD4046
An extension reel with an automatic rewind mechanism and a 15 m cable. Designed for use in the workshop, garage, garden and around the home, wherever a fixed wall socket is too far from the working area. The 3x1.5 mm² cable cross-section allows appliances drawing up to 16 A to be powered.

Automatic rewind mechanism
The cable rewinds automatically once the lock is released, so there is no need to wind it in by hand and the risk of insulation damage from careless coiling is reduced.
Thermal cut-out
A built-in thermal cut-out isolates the power supply if the unit overheats. This is particularly important during prolonged use with the cable only partly unwound from the drum — coiled cable has a limited ability to dissipate heat.
Socket with child protection
The socket is fitted with shutters that prevent objects from being pushed into the slots accidentally. This is a requirement of the standard where the unit is used in areas accessible to children.
Wall mounting option
The housing is designed to be mounted on a wall, which helps keep the workshop or garage tidy and gives constant, convenient access to the extension reel without having to leave it on the floor.
Cable cross-section and current capacity
At 230 V, a 3x1.5 mm² cable can safely supply appliances with a total power of up to approx. 3500 W (while staying within the 16 A rating of the socket). For appliances with a higher power draw — such as welding machines or high-power angle grinders — check the equipment manufacturer's requirements and make sure they do not exceed the ratings of the extension reel.

Use and maintenance
Before connecting appliances, fully unwind the cable from the drum — coiled cable heats up faster under load and may trigger the thermal cut-out even when the load is within the permitted ratings. Clean the housing with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or expose it to prolonged rainfall — the product is intended for use in dry conditions or in sheltered outdoor locations.
