A 25-metre extension reel with four earthed Schuko sockets, designed to power electrical equipment in domestic, workshop and construction settings. Fitted with 3x1 mm² VV-F cable and a thermal cut-out that protects against overheating.
A three-core cable with a 1 mm² cross-section per core safely carries up to 2300 W (230 V). The VV-F (rubber) insulation resists mechanical damage and weather conditions, allowing use outside buildings.
An automatic safeguard that cuts the power if the permissible operating temperature is exceeded. It protects the cable from overheating, which can occur during prolonged use with the cable fully wound or under overload.
The metal construction gives the drum stability and mechanical durability. The rubber grip makes carrying easier and prevents slipping when the reel is moved. The drum keeps the cable tidily stored and allows it to be unwound quickly to the required length.
Schuko sockets (with an earth pin) allow four devices to be connected at the same time. Earthing improves the safety of Class I equipment by dissipating any fault voltages.
When the cable is used while fully wound on the drum, it can overheat owing to the induction effect. The cable should be unwound to at least the length matching the intended load – at higher power ratings the cable must be fully unwound. The thermal cut-out trips automatically if the operating temperature is exceeded.

Before first use, check the condition of the cable and sockets – there should be no mechanical damage to the insulation and the plug should be securely fitted. After use, wind the cable evenly onto the drum, avoiding kinks and twisted cores.
Store in a dry room, away from heat sources and chemicals. Check the condition of the insulation and the operation of the thermal cut-out regularly. If the cable or plug is damaged, stop using the product and have it repaired by qualified personnel.
The maximum load of the reel depends on how it is used – with the cable fully unwound it is typically 2300 W (10 A at 230 V), while with the cable wound the value drops considerably because of the risk of overheating. Always match the length of cable unwound to the intended load.
