YATO YT-55756 Parking Bollard – Folding Bollard with Lock
The folding parking bollard is made from powder-coated steel and is designed to protect parking spaces, driveways and controlled-access areas. It is fitted with a cylinder lock and supplied with two keys.
Features of the parking bollard
Folding bollard design
The folding mechanism allows the bollard to be lowered into a horizontal position so that vehicles can pass freely whenever required. Once folded down, the bollard does not protrude above ground level, which removes the risk of vehicle damage and makes access easier to manage.
Powder-coated steel
The powder coating provides resistance to corrosion and to weathering – rain, snow and UV radiation. A bollard wall thickness of 1.5 mm and a base plate thickness of 3 mm give the structure rigidity and resistance to attempts at forced removal.
Cylinder lock with keys
The bollard is fitted with a cylinder lock that secures the folding mechanism. Two keys are supplied, so access can be managed by more than one person. The lock prevents the bollard from being folded down without authorisation.
Ground mounting
The 15 × 15 cm base with four 11 mm mounting holes (12 × 12 cm spacing) allows the bollard to be permanently anchored in concrete, asphalt or block paving. The 4.5 kg weight ensures stability once installed, and the base dimensions allow chemical or mechanical anchors to be used.

Installation and use
Installing the bollard
Before installation, mark out the position of the base, taking the 12 × 12 cm hole spacing into account. The 11 mm holes allow M10 or M12 anchors to be used. Holes should be drilled at least 8-10 cm deeper than the thickness of the base, and chemical or expansion anchors suited to the type of surface should be used. Once installed, check that the folding mechanism moves freely and that the lock operates correctly.
Maintenance and durability
The powder coating requires periodic cleaning to remove dirt and road salt, which extends the life of the anti-corrosion protection. The lock mechanism should be lubricated every 6 months with graphite grease or penetrating oil. If the paint coating is damaged, the area should be treated with anti-corrosion paint to prevent rust from developing.
