Diameter range 44-47 mm
The clamp fits hoses with an outside diameter of 44 to 47 mm. This range allows secure fastening of hydraulic hoses, pneumatic lines and flexible hoses reinforced with plastic, rubber or steel. The 3 mm tolerance compensates for material deformation.
22 mm steel band
A band width of 22 mm spreads the clamping force over a larger area, which prevents damage to the hose and ensures a tight joint. The wide band increases the mechanical strength of the clamp, particularly at higher working pressures.
W1 aluminium-zinc coating

Selecting a clamp for the hose diameter

Fitting and use
The GBS W1 bolt clamp is fitted using an open-ended spanner, a socket spanner or an adjustable spanner matched to the hexagon bolt head. The hinged design allows the clamp to be placed over the hose without removing the end fittings.
Before fitting, check that the hose surface is clean and free from oil or contaminants that could reduce the tightness of the joint. Tighten the bolt gradually, checking that the band sits evenly against the hose.
In pressure systems, periodic checks of the tightening torque are recommended, particularly after the first hours of operation, when the hose material may deform slightly.
