GEKO G02766 Clutch Alignment Tool
A universal workshop tool designed for precisely aligning the clutch disc with the crankshaft. The set contains an alignment tool and three expanding sleeves, allowing work with a range of bearing types and crankshaft designs in cars and vans.

Universal application
A set of three expanding sleeves allows work with various diameters of bearing seated in the crankshaft and with crankshafts that have no spigot bearing for the gearbox input shaft. This makes it possible to work on a wide range of vehicle models without the need for dedicated tools.
Diameter adjustment
One of the sleeves has a particularly wide adjustment range, ensuring compatibility with crankshafts that have no spigot bearing. The other two sleeves are matched to different standard bearing diameters, which eliminates the problem of a tool that does not fit the engine design.
Precise centring
The tool locks the clutch disc in an axial position relative to the crankshaft, which prevents the need to remove and refit the gearbox repeatedly if the disc is misaligned. Correct centring eliminates clutch engagement problems after assembly.

Use and maintenance
How to use
Before fitting the gearbox, insert the correctly selected expanding sleeve into the bearing in the crankshaft or directly onto the crankshaft (where no bearing is fitted). Then slide the clutch disc onto the alignment tool and place the assembly in the pressure plate. The tool holds the disc in an axial position while the pressure plate is bolted to the flywheel. Once the pressure plate has been tightened, remove the tool before fitting the gearbox.
Selecting the correct sleeve
The choice of the correct sleeve depends on the crankshaft design in the particular engine model. For crankshafts with a spigot bearing, measure the internal diameter of the bearing and select a sleeve with the appropriate diameter range. For crankshafts without a bearing, use the adjustable sleeve, which adapts to the crankshaft diameter by means of an expanding mechanism.
